Shantanu Maheshwari birthday special: How he betrayed in the industry and once when he fell victim of bank fraud!

But young sensation Shantanu Maheshwari believes in a low-key affair although his fans leave no stones unturned to make his day special.Actor and dancing sensation Shantanu Maheswari turns 33 today. The birthday boy enjoys a huge female fan following and was last seen on MTV Love on the Run.
The actor had a fabulous stint in 2017, as he didn’t just win Rohit Shetty’s Khatron Ke Khiladi 8 but was also among the top three finalists in celebrity dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.

Before making his Bollywood debut opposite Alia Bhatt in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiwadi in 2022, Shantanu Maheshwari has been a part of multiple TV shows. He won the stunt-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 8 in 2017, and also participated in dance reality shows such as Boogie Woogie, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9, and Nach Baliye 9.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Shantanu Maheshwari will be seen next in Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha. Starring Tabu and Ajay Devgn in the leading roles, the film is set to release in the theatres on April 26. It marks Neeraj Pandey’s return to film direction after six years since his last directorial Aiyaary in 2018. He has previously made A Wednesday, Baby, Special 26, and MS Dhoni: The Untold Story.
How he betrayed by the people in the industry:
In an interview with RJ Siddharth Kannan, Shantanu Maheshwari recalled how he’d been ‘betrayed’ by people in the entertainment world, and how he’d found out that some people were bad-mouthing him behind his back. This happens in this industry, they praise you to your face but speak ill about you behind your back,” he said in Hindi. Asked if there was one such comment that stayed with him, Shantanu Maheshwari said, “Comments don’t hurt me, gestures do.
People promise you, ‘We’ll work with you, you do this as a favour’, and I’ve done so many favours for so many people, because I respected them. And I don’t regret doing those favours.”
He continued, “That’s their karma, this is my karma. I did the favours with all the right intentions, and I did it from my heart. It’s okay, but it’s just that it feels like a betrayal, because they promised certain things. So, why not live up to that promise?”
When he fell victim of a bank fraud:
The cute and chocolate boy of B-town Shantanu announced on social media on January 30, 2024 and revealed how his card was made on his AXIS bank account without his knowledge. He shared the news on his Instagram and said that he had no clue that his registered phone number, address, and email ID were also changed.
In a conversation with Zoom/Telly Talk, Shantanu shared specific details about the scary incident that happened with him that will leave you shell-shocked. He informed me that his credit card was used by the scammer who withdrew Rs 5 lakh. The Dil Dosti Dance actor said that the entire process was very tiring and exhausting.
He said that he kept calling customer service but they put him on hold and in the cyber cell also the process was long. He said that they wanted his transaction ID which he did not had and so he kept trying the customer care people but they hung up on him twice
Shantanu Maheshwari even said that his address and phone number were removed from his card and another card was generated on his bank account. He did not even get any intimation when the new card was made or even when the transactions were happening.
Shantanu said that he was at a restaurant where he was trying to pay the bill and he gave his card. He said that he had exceeded the limit and he checked and found something wrong with his account. He got to know that someone else was spending the money from his credit card.
