In Chattisgarh, Congress were ruling as Bhupesh Baghel was the Chief Minister of the State and in MP there was rule of BJP as the Shivraj Singh Chauhan was the Chief Minister of the State.

In MP state BJP has ruled for eighteen-years in out of 20 years and in Chhattisgarh state the BJP has ruled for at least fifteen-years but now it would be interesting to see that whose Party is going to be rule in both the States.

As in the ongoing elections the BJP party members such as Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Union Minister Rajnath Singh, President of BJP party JP Nadda are roaming in the whole state of Madhya Pradesh on the other side Congress Party President Mallikarjun Kharge, general secretary of Party Priyanka Gandhi Vadra are along with Rahul Gandhi are visiting the state. The results of these ongoing elections will be come out on 3 December 2023.

History of political parties in both Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh:-

The election of the Legislative Assembly in Madhya Pradesh was last held in 2018, when the Congress Party secured 114 seats out of a total of 230 and won the election. From the Congress Party, Kamal Nath became the Chief Minister of the State, but after the short rule of the Congress Party in Madhya Pradesh, the party fell because the member of parliament (MP), Jyotiraditya Scindia, revolted against their own party, which is the Congress Party, and joined the BJP party, which resulted in him becoming the Chief Minister of State in Madhya Pradesh.

Kamal Nath had to resign, and later Shivaraj Singh Chauhan became the Chief Minister of the MP state. The last Congress ruled in Madhya Pradesh in 1998, when Digvijaya Singh became the Chief Minister. At that time, Madhya Pradesh was not divided. In the 2018 elections, the BSP party also secured two seats in the state by representing the interests of marginalized communities.

The Chhattisgarh state was formed on 2000 by separating it from the Madhya Pradesh under the Madhya Pradesh reorganization act. After becoming a new state in Chattisgarh the Initially BJP has won the Assembly Elections in three consecutive times and Raman Singh became the Chief Minister of the State.

But in the 2018 elections BJP has secured only 15 seats out of total 90 seats which is considered as the most worst performance of the BJP party ever and as result Congress Party won in which Bhupesh Baghel became the Chief Minister of the State. In this time it would be difficult for the BJP to win the election as Bhupesh Baghel is already a very popular leader among the public of Chhattisgarh.
