Voting update of Chattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh‘s state’s are:-
The voting is already done in both Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh state. Chhattisgarh has recorded 67.70% voting till 5p.m. in the evening on the other side Madhya Pradesh has recorded 71%of voting. In the second phase of election in Chattisgarh there were nine polling booths of the Bindranawagarh seat of Gariaband district were end early at 3p.m. due to security reasons as this is the naxal affected area and these polling booths are Kamarbhaudi, Amamora, Odh, Bade Gobra, Ganwargaon, Gariba, Nagesh, Sahbinkachhar and Kodomali.
In the elections there are total 958 Candidates which are in fray the candidates include Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, Chhattisgarh Deputy CM T S Singh Deo, eight ministers of the State and four members of Parliament.
In the Madhya Pradesh election there were total 64000 polling booths and total candidates are 2533 are in fray. Voting has been end at 6pm in the evening. But according to officials, those who are still standing in a queue would be allowed to cast their votes.
Attack on polling party in Chhattisgarh:-
A deadly attack was carried out today by the naxal during the election. In Gariaband district of Chhattisgarh an improvised explosive device (IED) blast has taken place.
The attackers targeted the polling party who were returning from the Bade Gobra polling station. In this attack Indo-Tibet Border Police (ITBP) head constable named Joginder Singh has died.
Situation in Madhya Pradesh:-
In Madhya Pradesh election there was an incident of stone pelting has taken place. The incident happened in the Dimani Assembly Constituency in Moreno district of Madhya Pradesh. The incident has taken place in the morning which involves the two group in which a person is injured but the situation has been controlled in time
Narottam Mishra’s controversial statement during the election :-
The Home Minister of Madhya Pradesh Narottam Mishra has given a strange statement in the morning during the ongoing election. He said that the country, Pakistan will celebrate if BJP does not wins and any other party wins the election. This statement of Mishra has created a controversy as the leader of Congress Jitu Patwari has said in a reply that BJP leader is trying to cover up the sins of the BJP party.
The Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Bhupesh Baghel has given statement to the media and said that there is no competition and the fight is one-sided. Bhupesh Baghel is seen confidence for his win in the assembly election.
On the other side, in Madhya Pradesh BJP leader, Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar has expressed confidence for winning the election in Madhya Pradesh. He has said that “there is a wave of BJP in Madhya Pradesh and the atmosphere is in their favour”.
Chief Election Commissioner Reena Kangale has said that in the election 100% enrollment of the Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs) has been achieved who are residing in Madhya Pradesh.
There is village in Chhindwara district named Shahpura which has boycotted the assembly election this year. In the village the total number of voters are 1063 in all of them only one man who has cast his vote from the village when polling booth was getting end. In Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh from BJP’s side Vivek Bunty Sahu are fighting and and in opponent from Congress’s side there is Kamal Nath is fighting in the elections.
In the election there is tough competition between BJP and Congress in both the state as BJP is ruling in the centre as well as in Madhya Pradesh and last Congress came in MP in 2018 but their rule was short in the state and as a result BJP came into power. But in Chhattisgarh people are happy with welfare schemes of government led by Bhupesh Baghel who is from Congress Party so now it would be interesting to see that which party will again come into power in which state.
