Big Fat Wedding season :
In this year, the capital city of India, Delhi is going to see atleast four lakh weddings in the upcoming three weeks. According to reports, in this year in Delhi the wedding will take place in every 4.5 seconds which is enough to guess the tight schedule of weddings. On the other side in our east, the West Bengal will also see grand celebration of fifty thousand weddings in this season.
From the 23 November wedding season has began which will continue till 15 December. Weddings of India were already very popular in worldwide but now people have started to celebrate their weddings in more lavish and grand way than earlier which is called as big fat wedding. This year the wedding in Delhi is going to make business of about 1.2 lakh crore, the statement is given by the national president of CAIT, B C Bhartiya and the secretary general Praveen Khandelwal. This year wedding are expected to contribute to atleast 4.25 lakh crore in the GDP of India.
Our Indian Weddings:-
We all know that the Indian weddings are celebrated in a huge manner. In India wedding takes place according to the religion and regions which are different from one another as in Hindu weddings, there is a big celebration which takes place like so many people gathers at one place, blesses the couple celebrate their happiness in a very grand manner.
In a luxury weddings people spends huge amount of money which is increasing day by day. Now people are exploring new ways to make their wedding special like a new trend has come which is destination wedding which has huge craze among the people and is increasing very fast in India. The grand weddings in India also helps the country to boost their economy. Indian billionaire Mukesh Ambani’s daughter, Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal has the most expensive wedding till date which worth of Rs. 7 billion.
The Destination wedding:-
The Destination wedding which is currently in trend and huge popular among the people. In a destination wedding, people usually choose a beautiful destination for their wedding to make their wedding more beautiful and special. Currently in India there are very famous destination where most of the people are doing their weddings such as Goa which is very famous for a beach wedding, a beautiful view of sky and sea, a place which looks not less than a heaven.
One of the most place right now is Udaipur where many weddings of celebrities has taken place as of Priyanka Chopra’s wedding. Udaipur, Rajasthan is such a place which gives the feel of royalty but there are other places too in Rajasthan along with which gives royal vibes as Jodhpur which is also very famous destination for wedding. Kerala is also very famous for destination wedding. The craze of destination wedding is increasing as many Bollywood celebrities has done their weddings in such places.
The Wedding Industry:-
The wedding industry, currently one of the biggest emerging industry sector in India. The Indian Wedding Industry, after the United States of America the second largest wedding market which is of $70 billion. As destination wedding and pre-wedding shoot along with photoshoot is the part of this industry which is also in trend. In this year atleast 38 lakh weddings are going to happen which will have expenditure of about Rs4.7 lakh crore. This new emerging industry has become the fourth largest industry in India after the energy, banking and insurances.
