The Banke Bihari Corridor have gotten permission from the Allahabad High Court
Digital News Guru Religious Desk: The dream project of the UP government to build a ‘Banke Bihari Corridor‘ in Vrindavan near the Banke Bihari temple is going to come true. The Allahabad High Court has granted permission to build the corridor. The decision came on Monday, which has made the people and devotees happy.
Last year, in 2023, a PIL was filed by Anand Sharma, and the plan was proposed by the state government. The bench comprises Chief Pritinker Diwaker and Justice Ashutosh Shrivastava, who have given the order. The corridor will benefit the people, as both Vrindavan and Mathura are tourist destinations, and so many people visit these places every month.
In Banke Bihari temple, people face a lot of problems visiting the temple as a huge crowd gathers at the temple, and because of this, sometimes some mishaps take place. So the bench of the court has granted the permission, but with the condition that no kind of hurdle or interference would take place in the puja, archana, or shrinagar.
About the Project: The PIL was filed because it was concerned that the law and order are very weak in the temple, due to which pilgrims have to face problems. Now the decision to build the corridor has passed, which will benefit the people. The Corridor will be built on about 3 acres of land, and it will be two stories. According to reports, the blueprint of the plan was already prepared by the government, and the corridor will also have three ways to visit.
But the High Court has not given permission to the state government to use the collected funds of the temple; the government has to bear the expenditure of the Banke Bihari Corridor. The project is going to be built like the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor. The parking area is also going to be developed.
The need of the Banke Bihari Corridor:- As we all know that the Mathura and Vrindavan are known for Lord Krishna’s land where the supreme lord has birth and spent his childhood. So every month devotees visit to the temples of Mathura and Vrindavan. The Banke Bihari temple is one of the most famous temples of our Lord Krishna so many people visits in this temple to offer there prayers but due to over crowd, many times in temple, some mishappenings have occurred like last year it was recorded that two people have died due to suffocation, some people also have also reported of loot.
People find it very difficult to visit the temple so it is the need of hour to make the corridor. The parking area is also going to build which will cover the area of 2600 square kilometres and will have the capacity of 1000 vehicles to be parked.
The project is going to be start from this year and will be build on the expenses of the State government.
UP government led by Yogi Adityanath as Chief Minister is promoting tourism in UP at a very high level. In tourism it is essential to take care of the convience of the tourists so earlier the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor was developed and now this time Banke Bihari Corridor is going to be build which will give comfort to the pilgrims.
