Popular Actor Dinesh Phandis aka freddy died at the age of 57
Digital News Guru Entertainment Desk: ‘CID’ actor Dinesh Phandis died at the age of 57 on December 5, Because of liver issues. The news was confirmed by his co-star, Dayanand Shetty.
Dinesh Phadnis who is the best known for playing Fredericks on hit Sony TV show CID has passed away. His co-star Dayanand Shetty aka Daya confirmed the news to Indian Express. He said, “Dinesh breathed his last at 12.08 am on December 5th. Dinesh Phandis who is 57 years old actor had been critical following liver damage and was admitted to Tunga hospital in Mumbai where he was placed on ventilator support. The cremation was conducted in Borivali on Tuesday.
Co- stars on his death-
Aditya Srivastava told:
His co star Aditya Srivastava as known as Abhijeet said that, “Dinesh has left us around 12:8 a.m. We know that he had liver issues and it had an impact on the other organs he was really and well for two or three days he couldn’t survive”.
Dayanand Shetty also told that – There also lot of complications and Dinesh was removed from the ventilator last night”. The actors funeral will take place in Mumbai. As per reports the entire cast of CID visited Dinesh’s home to pay there last respect.
The ‘Super 30’ fame actor said: “We had a long association with each other, it was like family. We were together for more than 20 years for the show. We used to meet on different occasions, and situations. The way he was on the screen, similarly he was in real life. ‘Bahut zinda dil tha’. He was jovial, caring, and a good friend. We are still in shock.
Who was Dinesh Phandis-
Dinesh Phandis popularly known as fredy in CID. He was born on 2nd November 1966 in Bihar tues. He was the famous television actor. A part from acting he also wrote some Marathi movies and some episodes of CID.
His television and filmy career –
Apart from working as an inspector in CID he also wrote some of the episodes of CID. He played a cameo appearance in the song Mela “Dilon Ka” in ‘Mela’ movie. Also play the role of inspector in the movie ‘Sarfarosh’ and ‘Officer’ .
He make a guest appearance in the popular television show Adalat and also play the constable Shambhu Tawde in CIF.

Renowned Indian television actor Dinesh Phadnis left behind a devoted family, including his daughter Tanu. Tanu grew to be an important figure in Dinesh Phadnis’ life and was clearly a source of pride and happiness for her father.
The actor’s achievements as a parent are just as significant, even if his renowned positions in the entertainment world created an enduring impression. Dinesh Phadnis’s relationship with Tanu was obviously very significant to him and a treasured part of his private life.
He gained a big popularity with the youngsters, much like the rest of the group, and he worked on the program from 1998 to 2018. Audiences and ardent CID fans adored his portrayal of a jovial investigator.

His ‘CID’ co-stars Shivaji Satam, Tanya Abrol, Shraddha Musle, Ajay Nagrath and Vivek Mashru took to their respective social media pages to pay tribute to the late actor.
On Tuesday, Ajay Nagrath aka pankaj took to Instagram to share the unfortunate news. He wrote, “Can’t believe you leftus for heavenly abode. Rest in peace Freddy Sir you’re forever in our hearts. Om Shanti .Ajay also shared a few stills of himself with Dinesh from the sets of ‘CID’.
Shraddha Musle Aka Dr Tarika, took to Instagram and wrote, “We will miss you Freddy Sir. #cid #cidcop #sweetestsoul #dineshphadnis #RIP
CID’s ACP Pradyuman AKA Shivaji Satam posted a collage of Dinesh’s pictures and wrote, “Dinesh Phadnis, simple, humble, lovable.
Vivek Mashru aka vivek shared a throwback picture of himself with Dinesh. “Miss You Freddy Sir RIP #rip #dineshphadnis #cid
Tanya Abrol, shared a bunch of pictures with the late actor and also wrote a lengthy note “Dearest Dinesh sir or how we all called him Freddy sir with love and affection. A person who made so many people laugh, be it onscreen or in real life and now that you are gone. Even then we are smiling and laughing thinking about all the stories and incidents but with teary eyes.
A roller coaster of emotions. May your journey ahead be peaceful. You will be missed tremendously, not just by us and family but also by millions of your fans . Not only his co-stars but everyone is also shocked about his sudden death. The world of television suffered a big loss on Monday with the death of Dinesh Phandis.
