DIGITAL NEWS GURU INTERNATIONAL DESK :- Israel defence forces has been entered in ground of Gaza City and they are continuously air striking over Gaza . Israel has cleared that their forces continue to fight against Hamas inside the city and according to reports they had killed one of the planner of the attack October 7 by Hamas in the ground operations.
Israeli ground operations:-
Israeli defence forces (IDF) after entering in the city they had conducted a search operation of tunnels used by territory’s militant Hamas rulers. As Israel has entered in their 2nd phase of ground raids in Gaza City and according to sources it would be followed by the third phase and in all these things people of Gaza are suffering very much.
Present situation in Gaza :-
Israel‘s horror air strike on Gaza strip at night which is terrific. Israel‘s bombardment on Gaza has intensified after the military said it was ‘expanding operations’ into the territory. Gaza is a densely populated area with the population of 2.23 million as of 2023. The Israel has warned civilians to move towards southern Gaza as they are bombarding . The hospitals are running out of fuel, medicine and equipment , the condition is worsen as people needs immediate treatment. The cellphones and internet services is also cut off
Role of UN:-
In UN General Assembly Palestinian Ambassador pleaded emotionally on the ongoing war in the Gaza but Israel’s envoy declared that , ” We will not rest until Hamas is obliterated”. The UN General Assembly adopted a resolution for ‘humanitarian truce ‘ in Gaza with 120 votes in favour, 14 votes against and 45 abstention. It was UN General Assembly’s emergency special session on the Israel – Palestine war in which the resolution adopted. India abstained from voting on the UN resolution and India’s Deputy Permanent Representative to UN, Yojna Patel has given the India’s zero tolerance approach to terrorism.
Hamas vs Israel:-
First of all, Hamas is a Sunni Islamist political and military organisation which governs in Gaza Strip. Hamas has a military arsenals , thousand of rockets , long- range missiles. On the other side Israel a strong country always known for its good cyber security but this time, Hamas entered in the Israel and attacked over them and Israel did nothing which shows the irresponsible attitude of security agencies bad surveillance capabilities and unpreparedness of their government.
Why Gaza at war:-
The war is going between Israel and Palestine after the Palestinian militant group, Hamas
made surprise attack over Israel from Gaza as the head quarter of Hamas is located in the Gaza strip. So somehow Gaza has become the victim of ongoing war .
From this ongoing war between both the countries civilians are going through their worst time as Indian diaspora were also living in Israel but after the attack India has taken measures immediately and get them back safely under the ‘Operation Ajay’ but unfortunately the civilians of Gaza have no option but to see the destruction.
A few hours ago, the Israeli army released another video urging people in northern Gaza to move south.
This is a practice Israel has been employing quite frequently. In this video, the Israeli army spokesman stated that the north is a stronghold of Hamas. He discussed how Israel is not targeting civilians but rather claims to be specifically targeting Hamas.
Hearing this is one thing, but the reality on the ground tells a different story.
People we know, who are in the south, have been targeted by Israeli strikes in areas that Israel advises people to move to. Many civilians have lost their lives in the south due to Israeli strikes.
