Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) ADVANCE 2024 : Registration begins from 21st april , exam dates are out !

SCHEDULE OF Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) ADVANCE  :

The schedule of the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) advance  has been released by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras. The registration process will start from the 21 April 2024 to 30 April 2024, then admit card will be distributed on 17 May 2024 and the Exam will be held on 26 May 2024 in all the Exam centres in the country. The Exam will be conducted in two phases as first phase for Paper1in the morning from 9am to 12pm and second phase will be held in the evening from 2:30pm to 5:30pm for paper2.

To apply for the exam one can visit the official website of the JEE Advanced and can check more details. After the exam the provisional answer key will be released on 2 June 2024 and on June 3, 2024 the objection window will be closed and the final answer key will be displayed on 9 June 2024 along with the result.

About the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Advance:-

The Joint Entrance Exam is one of the toughest examination in India along with UPSC and one of the toughest examinations in the world too. The examination is conducted annually in the country which is organised by one of the seven most prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) colleges in a rotation, the colleges are IIT Roorkee, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur, IIT Bombay, IIT Madras, IIT Guwahati.

Every science student wants to get the IIT college and there is only way to get one of these colleges which is through this examination. In India students started preparing for this exam from their high-school. At first, students has to go though IIT Mains examination then he gives the JEE Advanced. To crack this toughest examstudents joins the different coaching institutes in which Kota, Rajasthan is famous for IIT coaching in which every year hundreds of students goes Kota to join coaching. The main subjects of this examination are Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and there are only two attempts for the students.

History of Indian Institute of Technology:-

India after getting independence from the clutches of British in 1947, the situation of India was not very good in any field as in economy, development, education and Technology. Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India was concerned about the situation of India and he thought that development of science and technology is very important for modernization of India and by his great efforts the first IIT college was established in Hijli Detention Camp as IIT Kharagpur in 1950 which was inaugurated by the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad on 18 August 1951.

Initially, one could get admission in the college on the basis of their academic result. First time IIT-JEE was introduced in 1961 under the 1961 IIT Act. Another exam was added in IIT in 2002 for the admission in other engineering colleges rather than IIT’s which was All India Engineering Entrance Exam. By qualifying this examination one can get the National Institute of Technology (NIT) colleges but later in 2013 this AIEEE was renamed as JEE (Mains) and IIT-JEE converted into JEE Advanced. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Google is an IIT graduate from the IIT Kharagpur.

IIT Madras has topped the ranking in the National Institutional Ranking Framework which was announced by the Ministry of Human Resources Development. IIT Bombay stands in second rank and IIT Delhi in third rank.

This year JEE Advanced schedule is announced by the IIT Madras but in 2025 the exam will be conducted by the IIT Kanpur.
